[June 2009] The first of many updates to be made to WiggleTime.com over TheFARM's ongoing relationship with The Wiggles has been launched!
Following the initial launch of WiggleTime.com in April 2009, new interactive preloaders and an additional game have been developed enabling preschool children to explore, play
and learn with the use of familiar Wiggles themes, destinations and
characters.
The music bubble preloader is designed to keep children engaged whilst the virtual world is loading. Users can click on the coloured lines to add different musical notes and hear the sequence play back.
Wags' Digging for Bones game requires children to instruct Wags the Dog to dig up bones in the yard with the objective of finding pairs with matching coloured ribbons. If a wrong pair is revealed Wags covers up the bones and encourages children to try again, testing their memory.
As with each game played on
WiggleTime.com it contains cognitive, physical and social elements to help
benefit the pre-schooler. This game primarily develops cognitive skills through the key competency of memory and matching which can be tracked by Parents through the existing Child Reporting component.
