GlastoTag - Clever Use of Facebook Connect

http://glastonbury.orange.co.uk/glastotag/

Do yourself a favour and go and check this out. Built by Poke in the UK for the Orange Mobile Network one massive picture of the Glastonbury Festival crowd presents users with the challenge to find yourself/friends and tag them on Facebook via Facebook Connect integration. A really clever use of Facebook Connect and a well executed concept with amazing detail even when very closely zoomed in.

Also liking the use of augmented reality in the GlastoNav app. An apt (no pun intended) occasion for it if ever there was one and a good example of a brand offering utility (they'll even point you towards the nearest loo) over interruption. Love to see something similar developed for a festival here. But in the  meantime I'd settle for being able to send and receive text messages... without a four hour delay. A mobile carrier who could provide THAT in a festival environment would win brownie points with me (not to mention a few pill popping teenagers).

When I try and remove an application from face-book it says you cannot completely remove a Face-book application. This will remove Gifts from your bookmarks, and remove any profile tabs or boxes.
